Boston College will honor Sept. 11 hero Welles Crowther with new Red Bandana uniforms for the Eagles' game towards Massachusetts on Saturday.

The Red Bandana jerseys honor Crowther, who stored severa lives as he got humans to safety as they had been stuck inside the South Tower at some point of the 9-11 attacks in New York City. He became known as The Man in the Red Bandana after someone witnessed his heroics.

Crowther performed lacrosse at Boston College and turned into an equities dealer for Sandler O’Neill and Partners.
